More than 2.5 million young men enlisted in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. Many of them felt that experience was the most important event in their lives, turning them from boys into men. Author/songwriter Bill Jamerson has researched the CCC, produced a documentary film for Michigan PBS, recorded a CD of related songs and written an historical novel. He'll share some of of his information in this musical storytelling program.
