What counts for summer reading?
Everything counts! Library books or your own books. Audiobooks. eBooks. Books someone reads to you. Magazines, graphic novels, and comic books, too.
What do I do?
Keep track of the amount of time you read or are read to.
Log in to your summer reading homepage and record your time. Do this from your computer or mobile device, or at the library. Be sure to log all your reading time by the end of the day on Friday, August 18th. You will not be able to record anything after that.
Small prizes are earned at the first 5 and 10 hours of reading time. When you reach 20 hours, you have earned a book to keep and an entry into the prize drawing for one of four $50 gift cards to Barnes & Noble! Each additional 20 hours earns you another prize drawing entry. The website will tell you when you have reached a prize level. Please pick up your prizes at the library by September 1st.

When you reach 20 hours, you have earned a book to keep! The website will tell you when you have reached a prize level. Please pick up your prizes at the library by September 1st.

1 point for every library program you attend
Every 5 points equals one entry
Weekly, Monthly and Grand Prize Drawings
Each Monday weekly drawings will be held. Three winners will be drawn for $5 gift cards to Dairy Queen, Caribou Coffee & Starbucks.
