University Minnesota Duluth now has a book display for One Book Northland. Their focus for the display is "Black Men Write on Black Men's Lives."
The books were chosen through inspiration provided by Colson Whitehead's Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Nickel Boys, the authors of the books are also Black men, speaking on the life experiences of Black men in the United States.
The books on this list will be on display in the library during April 2021. The books will be "on loan" to the display case. Stop by the library and choose one to read. You can take the book you choose from the display case and bring it to the desk to check it out. Not at UMD? Look for these titles at your public library.
