How to Stay Well as a Caregiver

Discussion of the importance of support from a caregiver for older adults to remain independent and that caregiving can take a toll especially if the person they care for has Alzheimer’s.  Information will be provided about how caregivers can reduce the stress and burden of caregiving while increasing their ability to care for their loved one.  Also discussed will be a specific caregiver support program offered in Duluth called REACH that stands for Resources to Enhance Alzheimer’s Caregiver Health.  Emma is a certified REACH provider and has extensive experience working with caregivers as well as providing care consultation to older adults.
