Gene Luen Yang is the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature and the national spokesperson for the Reading Without Walls program.
A graphic novelist, cartoonist, and MacArthur fellow, Gene’s published work includes American Born Chinese, Boxers & Saints, and Superman comics!
Gene’s talk will emphasize the importance of narratives that convey a multitude of cultural experiences.
A book signing will follow the talk.
