Join us for a variety of gentle exercises at our Wellness Wednesdays!  Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.  No previous experience is necessary.

April 11: 
Tai Chi 
Anita Campbell, Tai Chi Practitioner since 2008
The gentle exercise, Tai Chi, is a Chinese Martial Art.  It can help maintain or build flexibility, strength, and balance.  

April 18:
Yoga
Carla Powers, RYT 200
Yoga can help increase flexibility, relax muscles, and reduce anxiety or stress.  The class will begin with breath work, proceed through some gentle movements to increase flexibility and reduce stress, and end with a short meditation exercise.

April 25:
Qigong
Anne Katoch, Certified Practice Group Leader
Simple movements, all of which can be done standing, sitting, or even lying down, make Spring Forest Qigong easy to learn and a joy to practice.  We will practice the five elements movements followed by a short meditation.
